Will we be able to have 'Island' SIM's in the future? I would like to have a SIM without neighbors (to avoid unhappy architecture) .... will we have this option anytime? I think it would be a value service to metazens.

I do believe it costs to reserve space around your SIM, I think 4 spots around your SIM is enough to stop people from connecting to your SIM, eg: north, south, east and west.

I think kg-idk wanted to know the extra price for a Region without neighbours. KG, this option is currently not possible automatically. We can however reserve mapspaces or move your Region to an unpopulated spot on the worldmap.
Even without sims right next to eachother if conected at the corners you can still see other sims from home :S. Why is this i wonder, an i still find it odd that you can walk from corner to corner across to the next sim.

You can't see into a sim if it's marked as no public access in the estate tools, which is the default when new sims are delivered. Though you can if you are on the access list, or the owner, or estate manager. If you can't see it, you can't walk into it.
